Evidence of Creation
Two Signs, Perfect Design, and the Evidence of Creation
The early morning mist still hung over the grass as Jack sat at the wooden table on the porch, his heavy study Bible open beside a worn notebook. The morning air was quiet, the kind of quiet that lets a man think deep on how the world was put together. He looked out over the fields and considered a truth that had stood firm since the dawn of creation: God's instructions are without error, and He always establishes truth with two witnesses.
In everything the Creator set into motion, He left clear signs—double proofs that reveal a divine design no human mind could have engineered.
God in 60 Seconds: Proof There is a God and He Created Everything
Jack jotted down a simple, undeniable truth in his notes—a thought so clear it could settle a mind in under a minute:
When you see a painting, you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that there was a painter.
When you see a building, you know with absolute certainty that there was a builder.
When you look anywhere in this world and see the creation, you realize the Creator is highly intelligent.
The design, the beauty, the intricate function, the complexity, and the raw creativity all testify to an all-knowing Creator who was there at the beginning and remains sovereign today. Creation itself is the grand witness that leaves no room for doubt.
The Witness of the Waters
Jack turned his thoughts to the depths of the seas, lakes, and rivers. Across the globe, there are countless species of aquatic life, yet the Torah lays down a remarkably simple rule for what is clean to eat: it must have both fins and scales.
Then comes the miracle of the Creator's design: wherever you find a fish in any water that has scales, it will always have fins.
While there are fish with fins that lack scales, there is not a single fish in all the world's oceans that possesses true scales without also having fins. Who could possibly know the precise biological anatomy of every creature in every ocean, river, and stream across the entire earth—thousands of years before modern marine biology—except the Creator Himself? It was a built-in witness, flawless and complete.
The Two Signs of the Field
Jack turned the page to the land creatures. Out of the millions of animal species roaming the earth, how could ancient man know which were clean for food and which were not? God didn't leave it to human guesswork. He gave a clear formula built on two specific signs:
The animal must chew the cud (regurgitate and re-chew its food).
The animal must have a completely split or cloven hoof.
Both witnesses had to be present. But the Creator also gave a warning, pointing out four exceptional animals that might trick someone because they possess only one of the two signs:
The Camel: Chews the cud, but does not have a completely divided hoof.
The Rabbit: Chews the cud, but has no split hoof.
The Hare: Chews the cud, but lacks a split hoof.
The Pig: Has a thoroughly split hoof, but does not chew the cud.
Out of all the land mammals on Earth, only these four possess just one sign without the other. To name those exact four creatures thousands of years ago—without missing one or falsely identifying another—required an errorless knowledge of global zoology that only God possesses.
The Precision of the Eighth Day
Finally, Jack noted the divine timing written into human biology itself. In Genesis, God commanded that every male baby be circumcised on the eighth day.
For centuries, people followed the instruction simply out of obedience. But modern medical science eventually uncovered the biological marvel behind the mandate: on the eighth day of a newborn's life, the element responsible for blood clotting—prothrombin, driven by Vitamin K—peaks at its highest level in a human's entire lifespan, reaching an astonishing 110% of normal.
Before the eighth day, an infant's immune and clotting systems are still developing; after the eighth day, the levels level off to normal human baselines. The eighth day is the only time in a person's entire life when the body naturally possesses that extra 10% surge of Vitamin K and peak clotting power.
The Creator's Signature
Jack closed his notebook and looked out across the horizon. From the canvas of nature, to the scales of the fish in the deep, to the hooves of the beasts in the field, down to the very bloodstream of a newborn child, God’s word stood unbroken.
His instructions were not arbitrary rules or ancient folklore. They were the master blueprints of the One who made the heavens and the earth—perfect, without error, and signed with the unmistakable witness of divine truth.
